ISOC Bangalore has embarked on a unique mission to educate the children in the under-privileged schools through an e-learning curriculum. We hope to make a big difference in the way these children learn through this noble initiative which we named “Empowering Young Minds through Internet & Computer Education”.

We believe the benefits of e-learning are manifold & well established. But technology is far out of reach for these schools who hardly can afford a single computer let alone a computer lab required for the e-learning infrastructure for the students. The ISOC team understands that delivering an e-learning curriculum needs a good support system which can ensure the effective usage of the curriculum over a substantially long time. So our endeavour doesn’t just include designing an e-learning curriculum through key expertise from industry & academia. We also step in to help the schools to set up and maintain a decent computer lab through collaboration with corporate houses and NGOs who are involved in imparting quality education to under-privileged children.

The response we have got till now both from the corporates & NGOs make us believe to be able to reach out to a good number of such schools in the coming months and help them in running e-learning courses for their children. We hope to team up with more collaborating partners in achieving our dream to reach out to every under-privileged school in Karnataka.
